Mr. V. Ganesh – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ganesh is a Chartered and Cost Accountant by profession and has nearly 2 decades of experience in the financial services space. Before joining Karvy, he was associated with ITC’s Risk Management and Financial Audit Services department. Earlier he was associated with Proctor and Gamble and was responsible for product pricing and financial support functions for P&G’s soaps and health care businesses. His experience in Karvy, spread over 16 years, is across the techno commercial space with responsibilities for setting up a Pan India branch network, back office processing, interfaces with other intermediaries, call center, web initiatives, online trading and other activities in the transfer agency business.

Mr. Ganesh is the Director of Karvy Data Management Services Ltd. and is also the Chairman of the Registrars Association of India (RAIN).

Mr. Amit Verma – Head - Corporate Registry

Amit has over seventeen years of Investment Banking Operations and BPO Industry expertise. He joined KCPL after a stint with Wipro Ltd, where he was General Manager and Head – Investment Banking Operations. He has vast experience across people, project and process management; business development and transformation. He brings with him expertise in creating and running large business units across various service lines including investment bank ops/ KPO, shared services, transaction processing and contact center. He has worked at various capacities with major corporate like Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd, HCL, Unisys Corporation, WNS. During his stint in UK with Deutsche Bank, he was instrumental in acquisition of Deutsche Software and setting up BPO for Deutsche Bank with HCL. Amit is an ACSI (Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment), London and has also done his MBA (Finance) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Mr. Alok Sharma – Vice President

Mr. Alok Sharma (C.A., LLB) has a total work experience of 21 years and currently handles the Registry operations at Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd. Prior to joining the Karvy family he served as the Vice President at MCS Limited.

Mr. Avinash Sankhe - GM

Mr. Avinash Sankhe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and is an Executive MBA. He has a total of 18 years of experience in projects and operations management with 10 years in IT enabled services. His previous employer in ITES was Datamatics Technologies Ltd. and in automotive manufacturing were Tata and Mahindra. He brings a rich expertise in setting up and ramping up offshore delivery teams for fairly large projects in BFSI and Healthcare space. His strengths are continual improvement in service delivery processes, quality management, security management and deployment of advanced technologies. He has been successfully managing complex operational and technology delivery SLAs for large customers. He is a BSI certified internal quality auditor for ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 27001 certified ISMS (Information Security Management System) auditor. At Datamatics, he was recognized for his association with the Malcolm Baldridge Business Excellence Award, for the best-managed project within Datamatics for 2 consecutive years. He currently heads the IT delivery for Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd., encompassing Mutual Fund and Corporate Registry services.

Mr. M.R.V. Subramanyam - GM

Mr. M.R.V. Subrahmanyam is Lawyer by profession and Post Graduate in Commerce. He possesses over 25 years of core experience in the Legal, Registry Service & Financial Service sectors. Before joining Karvy Group, he was associated with Legal & Registry Services for 15 years and worked in Production & Service Industry. His current association with Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd. has been for the last 10 years where he oversees the Operations of UTI Mutual Fund, and holds the responsibility of day-to-day back office services.

Before taking up the Mutual Fund Services at Karvy Computershare, he was handling investor servicing of Multi-national Companies viz., Hindustan Lever Limited, Pfizer Limited & CIPLA Limited and Financial Institutions inter alia IDBI Bank Limited, UCO Bank & Canara Bank.

Mr. Ravi Kuchimanchi – Head - Quality & Risk Management

Ravi has over twenty years of leadership experience in Operations Management, Service delivery, Customer Support, Project Management, and implementation of ERP, CRM and business process transformation initiatives. He has joined KCPL after his role as General Manager – Customer Support, IT and Business Transformation at Aliens Group. Prior to this he has worked with Organizations like Beam Cable System Pvt. Ltd., Integra Software services, Philips Medical Systems. Ravi is an Engineer from Osmania University and holds a Master of Management degree from Shailesh J Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay. He loves Singing and plays Badminton.

Mr. Pradipta Kumar Sahoo – Head - Human Resources

Pradipta possesses rich and varied experience of over 19 years in the HR function spanning across all the aspects of HR from Talent Acquisition, Performance Management to Talent Management, IR & Cultural realignment. He has been heading the HR function in BFSI & Retail Industries for the last 6 years. He had joined the previous 3 companies in Insurance & Retail industry during their start up phase & successfully set up their HR policy, processes & philosophy and built the manpower base including leadership team. At Karvy Computershare, he is heading HR function & is responsible for bringing in the industry best practices & new HR initiatives. Prior to Karvy Computershare, he was working as VP – HR for Bharti AXA General Insurance Co Ltd.

Mr. G. Giridhar - DGM

Mr. G.Giridhar is the Group Relationship Manager is a graduate in Economics and is qualified in Insurance. He comes with an experience of about 20 years in the Financial Sector – Mutual Funds, Banking and Insurance. His last 10 years has been in the area of Mutual Funds. He is with Karvy for the past 3 years handling Registry / TA Operations and Client Relations. Prior to that, he was with GIC Asset Management Co. Ltd for over 7 years handling various portfolios like Investor Services, Legal & Compliance.

Mr. Sridhar Kakarala - DGM

Mr. Sridhar Kakarala has joined Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd. as the Head of IT & Product Development.

Mr. Sridhar possesses a rich and varied experience of over 19 years in Software Development, Project Management, Product Development, Re-engineering, Business Intelligence including over 7 years of international experience.

He has played key roles in architecting and implementation of large data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for major international clients in BFSI domain. In addition to this he has earlier led large teams in the successful delivery of IT solutions in the Banking and Insurance sectors.

He is a Certified Knowledge Manager from International Knowledge Management Institute, USA, and has a passion for creating and nurturing a knowledge sharing environment.

Mr. Murali Krishna Tammara Head - New Initiatives

Murali Krishna, is a Graduate in commerce and has over 16 years of experience in Accounts, Finance and Operations. He is a “Green Belt” holder in Six Sigma. He has been associated with Karvy Computershare for the last 10 years handling Mutual Fund Registry / TA Operations and Client Relations in various capacities. Currently, he is Head - New Initiatives and is also the official representative of Karvy Computershare at external forums for the effective & uniform implementation across the fund houses serviced by Karvy Computershare. He is the central coordinator for creating the process/documents and signing off the same before technical implementation apart from overseeing operations of a couple of overseas funds and projects. He is also one of the key members of the business development team and has been instrumental in the acquisition of MF clients and overseas assignments. Before joining Karvy Computershare, he was associated with TCI’s (Transport Corporation of India) finance and accounts department for four years.
